The Tenda TFC100A is a 100Mbps single-mode & single-fibre media converter, which can implement a mutual conversion between electrical signals and optical signals. This type of fibre converter can extend the transmission distance of a network through optical fibre. The TFC100A adopts the technique of WDM, which can enable the SC optical interface to transmit a signal through single-mode and single-fiber. The SC optical interface has a transmission distance of up to 20km and can send a wavelength of 1550nm (1310nm) and receive a wavelength of 1310nm (1550nm). With a data rate of 100Mbps, this device meets the wired transmission requirements of hotels, universities and businesses.
